THE HIRAMATSU

THE HIRAMATSU Kyoto occupies a meticulously restored machiya townhouse in the heart of Kyoto's historic Higashiyama district. The hotel is an expression of the Hiramatsu Group's philosophy — the finest French cuisine interpreted through Japanese precision and hospitality. The 14 rooms and suites are individually designed, each incorporating traditional Kyoto architectural elements: the narrow 'eel's bed' corridor, miniature box gardens, and shoji screens that filter the morning light. The restaurant, overseen by a Hiramatsu-trained chef, serves a kappo-style menu that changes with the seasons.
