Palace designation
Hôtel de Crillon occupies one of the two matching palaces on the Place de la Concorde, built by Louis XV in 1758. After a four-year restoration by Aline Asmar d'Amman, the hotel reopened in 2017 with 124 rooms and suites that blend 18th-century grandeur with contemporary luxury. The hotel's Les Ambassadeurs restaurant, with its gilded salon, is one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world. The Chanel spa, the only one in the world designed by the fashion house, is a destination in its own right.
